SJB Medical is hiring a Functional Assessor to use your clinical expertise to carry out functional assessments supporting health-related benefit applications. Based at one of our UK centres, you will work with a multidisciplinary team within a structured environment and benefit from training and clear career pathways.

You will conduct assessments, write reports, and maintain records while collaborating with other clinicians.

Qualifikationen

• Registered healthcare professional (Nurse, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Paramedic, or Pharmacist)
• 12 months post-registration experience within the last 5 years
• No current restrictions to practice
• Strong communication, assessment, and report-writing skills

Functional Assessor Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 Location: Aylesbury Additional pay & bonuses: Guaranteed £2,000 salary uplift within your first year (subject to approval milestones and contract) One-off approval bonus of 5% of salary Up to 10% annual performance bonus based on quality and performance Working pattern: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm Part-time hours available Make a real difference in healthcare - without the shift work

About the role

As a Functional Assessor, you'll use your clinical expertise in a new and rewarding way, carrying out functional assessments that support individuals applying for health-related benefits. This role allows you to apply your clinical judgement while enjoying regular working hours, no night shifts, and no weekend work. You'll be part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, evidence-based assessments. What you'll need

• Be a registered healthcare professional (Nurse, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Paramedic, or Pharmacist)
• Have at least 12 months' post-registration experience within the last 5 years
• Have no current restrictions to practice
• Demonstrate strong communication, assessment, and report-writing skills
