Job summary

Rowlands Pharmacy in Wrexham is seeking a dedicated pharmacist to join the Kings Mills Branch. The role focuses on providing high-quality patient care, counselling, and collaborative work with healthcare professionals to optimise treatment outcomes.

The successful candidate will dispense medications, conduct reviews, and contribute to health promotion initiatives while maintaining accurate records and leveraging ProScript technology.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Proven experience in a community pharmacy setting.
• Strong commitment to patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines.
• Provide medication counselling and support to patients, answering their questions and addressing concerns.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including doctors and nurses, to optimize patient care.
• Conduct medication reviews and ensure safe and effective medication management.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage pharmacy inventory.
• Provide immunization services (where applicable).
• Offer advice on over-the-counter medications and healthcare products.
• Actively participate in health promotion and public health initiatives.

Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 09:00 - 18:00 (9 hours per day) and alternate Saturday 09:00 - 12:00 (3 hours)

This branch is staffed with an experienced team including a non-pharm manager, 3 HCP's and an ACPTproviding an excellent service to the local community from their setting on the outskirts of the city centre.Currently dispensing around 10,000 items per month, this is a relatively branch. As well as providing a variety of services, such as Welsh Services, CAS, EHC, EMS and Flu this branch also utilises our Medipac robotic distribution technology. This frees up your time to provide the care our patients deserve.

The branch uses ProScript system.

Key Responsibilities
