Rowlands Pharmacy in Bedale is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our team. The role involves dispensing accurately, patient counselling, collaborating with doctors, and contributing to high-quality patient care in a community setting.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Proven experience in a community pharmacy setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; can work in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
• Provide medication counselling and support to patients.
• Collaborate with doctors and nurses to optimise patient care.
• Conduct medication reviews and ensure safe and effective medication management.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage pharmacy inventory.
• Provide immunization services (where applicable).
• Offer advice on over-the-counter medications and healthcare products.
• Actively participate in health promotion and public health initiatives.

Working Hours: Average of 45 hours per week

Week 1- Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:30 and Saturday- 09:00-12:00

Week 2- Monday, to Friday 09:00 - 18:30

Week 3 - Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:30

Week 4- Monday to Friday 09:00 - 18:30

Rowlands Pharmacy is seeking a talented and experienced pharmacist to join our team in the Bedale Branch. As a reputable and community oriented pharmacy chain, we are committed to providing the highest standard of care to our patients. This branch is staffed with an experienced team including one non-pharm manager, ACT trainee, two HCP level 2 qualified and a HCP traineeproviding an excellent service to the local community from their setting in a remote village on a high street. Currently dispensing around 8,200 items per month, this is a relatively steadbranch. As well as providing a variety of services, such as private weight loss, BP, ABPM, NMS and contraception this branch also utilises our Medipac robotic distribution technology. This frees up your time to provide the care our patients deserve.

What We Require
