Rowlands Pharmacy in Holyhead is seeking a dedicated pharmacist to join our busy branch. You will dispense prescriptions, counsel patients, and work with doctors and nurses to ensure optimal care for the local community.

The role requires GPhC registration, strong communication, and a flexible, team-driven approach. We offer an independent prescriber supplement, relocation support, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Strong commitment to patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines.
• Provide medication counselling and support to patients, answering their questions and addressing concerns.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Conduct medication reviews and ensure safe and effective medication management.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage pharmacy inventory.
• Provide immunization services (where applicable).
• Offer advice on over-the-counter medications and healthcare products.
• Actively participate in health promotion and public health initiatives.

Other Incentive: Up to £8,000 relocation package

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 09.00 - 17.30 and 1 in 2 Saturdays 09.00 - 13.00 (Some flexibility available)

This branch is staffed with an experienced team of 7 including an ACPT Pharmacy Manager and 6 Healthcare Partners providing an excellent service to the local community setting in a beautiful north Wales port town.Currently dispensing around 13,000 items per month and growing, this is a busy branch. As well as providing a variety of services, this branch also utilises our Medipac robotic distribution technology. This frees up your time to provide the care our patients deserve.
