Job summary

SRG is seeking an Experienced Pharmaceuticals Technical Sales Manager to advance their career with a well-established custom synthesis innovator in the West Midlands. The role involves remote work with periodic on-site visits across the UK and Ireland, and travel about one third of the time.

You will identify, contact, and develop new business while promoting the company's portfolio and synthesis capabilities.

Qualifications

Direct experience in consultative and technical sales of custom synthesis services to the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.
Degree-level qualification in Chemistry, ideally with Organic or Medicinal focus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Willing and able to travel 1/3 of the time across the UK & Ireland.
Full, clean UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

Identify, contact and develop new business using a variety of methods.
Promote the company's product portfolio and custom synthesis service capabilities.
Grow market presence across the UK & Ireland pharmaceutical and biotech industries.
Grow existing customer relationships to increase account spend.
Travel across the UK & Ireland to visit customer sites (~1/3 of time).
Record progress on CRM software integrated with product fulfilment.
Keep abreast of product development and trends in pharma/biotech industries.
