Job summary

SRG, a leading personal care ingredients distributor, seeks an Account Manager to drive UK sales. Remote with occasional on-site visits in the South West, you will build strategic relationships with manufacturers, brands and formulators while promoting an innovative portfolio.

Open to chemistry grads moving into sales or experienced personal care account managers. Join a multinational with a lean, high-impact team and strong product development focus.

Qualifications

• Direct experience in consultative and technical sales of personal care raw materials.
• Or experience working as a Formulation Chemist in the personal care industry looking to pivot into a commercial role.
• Degree-level qualification (or equivalent) in Chemistry, Biology or a closely related subject.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Willing, able and excited to travel 1/3 of your time across the whole of the UK.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Building existing customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and increase account spend.
• Traveling approximately 1/3 of your time across the UK to visit customer sites.
• Promoting the company's product portfolio of innovative, sustainable actives.
• Generating leads to identify new potential customers in your region.
• Identifying, contacting and developing new business using a variety of methods.
• Maintaining and updating the database to build a customer pool.
• Keeping abreast of product development & trends in the personal care industry.
