Job summary

SRG is looking for an experienced QA Officer to join its pharmaceutical quality assurance team in Scotland. You will own quality activities across products, campaigns and change projects to ensure GMP/GxP compliance and patient safety.

You will review documentation, support investigations and audits, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve compliance issues and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology or related scientific discipline.
• Experience in pharma QA or regulated environment.
• Strong GMP/GxP knowledge.
• MHRA/FDA knowledge advantageous.
• Experience with QMS and controlled documentation.
• Experience reviewing batch records, deviations, investigations, CAPA and change controls.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and organisation.
• Clear written and verbal communication; cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve manufacturing batch records, packaging records, laboratory data and process instructions.
• Act as the QA representative for new products, manufacturing campaigns and change projects.
• Manage and support deviations, non-conformances, investigations and OOS results.
• Contribute to root cause analysis and CAPA implementation.
• Participate in change controls, risk assessments, validation activities and product quality reviews.
• Support internal audits, customer audits and regulatory inspection readiness.
• Maintain QMS documentation, including SOPs, protocols, reports and quality records.
• Support material and product disposition activities.
• Work with Production, QC, R&D and other departments to resolve quality issues.
• Prepare quality trend reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Promote a culture of quality, compliance and continuous improvement.
