Job summary

Piramal Pharma Solutions is seeking a QA Officer in Grangemouth to act as the QA representative for campaign projects, ensuring GMP/GxP compliance across manufacturing records, deviations, CAPAs, and change controls. You will review process instructions, support audits, and address quality issues with a focus on product quality and regulatory readiness.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a scientific field and 2+ years QA experience, with strong communication and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a Quality Assurance role within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
• GMP, GLP and regulatory requirements (e.g. MHRA, FDA) knowledge and experience with QMS documentation (SOPs, deviations, CAPAs, change control).
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final product inspections in line with GMP and company procedures.
• Review and approve batch records, deviations, and change controls per regulatory guidelines.
• Participate in audits and prepare audit reports with corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
• Investigate quality issues, non-conformances, and customer complaints and identify root causes.
• Develop, revise and implement QMS documentation, including SOPs and work instructions.
• Provide QA support and training to other departments as required.
• Monitor environmental controls and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain quality records and documentation and contribute to continuous improvement.
