GMP/GxP QA Lead — Pharma Quality & Compliance

Job summary

SRG is seeking an experienced QA Officer to join a fast-paced pharmaceutical environment in Falkirk. You will act as the QA representative on projects, review critical documentation, support investigations and audits, and ensure GMP/GxP compliance and patient safety across manufacturing campaigns and change initiatives.

You will collaborate with Production, QC and R&D to resolve quality issues, maintain QMS documentation, and contribute to CAPA and change controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology or another relevant scientific discipline.
• Previous QA experience in regulated pharmaceutical environments.
• Strong knowledge of GMP/GxP requirements.
• MHRA and FDA knowledge is advantageous.
• Experience with Quality Management Systems and controlled documentation.
• Experience reviewing batch records, deviations, investigations and CAPA.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve manufacturing batch records, packaging records, laboratory data and process instructions.
• Act as QA representative for new products, campaigns and change projects.
• Manage deviations, non-conformances, investigations and out-of-specification results.
• Contribute to root cause analysis and CAPA implementation.
• Participate in change controls, risk assessments, validation activities and product quality reviews.
• Support internal and regulatory audits and inspection readiness.
• Maintain QMS documentation, including SOPs, protocols, reports and quality records.
• Support material and product disposition activities.
• Collaborate with Production, QC, R&D and other departments to resolve quality issues.
• Prepare quality trend reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Promote a culture of quality, compliance and continuous improvement.
