Job summary

The Labour Group is seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Manager for a pharmaceutical project in Surrey. You will lead day-to-day mechanical works, manage subcontractors and ensure timely delivery to the required quality and safety standards.

This nine-month contract offers a concrete role on a technically demanding site with a leading M&E contractor. Surrey location, Outside IR35 and a daily rate of £400.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Site Manager within M&E/Building Services.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical building services installations.
• Experience managing mechanical subcontractors and site teams.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, pipework and plant installations.
• Pharmaceutical or life sciences project experience is advantageous.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day delivery of mechanical works on site.
• Lead mechanical supervisors, site labour and subcontractors.
• Oversee HVAC, pipework, plant installations and QA documentation.
• Coordinate daily and weekly site activities to meet programme milestones.
• Review RAMS and ensure safe systems of work are followed.
• Carry out site inspections and maintain high Health & Safety standards.
• Coordinate with electrical trades and manage site logistics.
