Job summary

Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Contract Manager (Band 7) to oversee the PFI contract, monitor budgets, and ensure performance standards are met across the site. The role involves liaising with FM Co, project teams and internal departments to protect the Trust’s position.

Successful candidates will manage payments, contractual audits and complex queries, with a focus on timely reporting and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience in property/estates management or contracts management.
• Postgraduate qualification in management or an equivalent programme.
• Experience with PFI contracts and budget oversight is essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee payment mechanisms and contract performance against budgets.
• Audit contracts and facilitate resolution of disputes between parties.
• Coordinate between FM Co, project teams and site users to ensure compliance.
• Chair regular contract performance meetings and monitor VO/Small works progress.
