Job summary

London Borough of Havering is seeking a dedicated PfA Lead to champion Preparation for Adulthood across education pathways and EHCP processes. You will shape a borough-wide PfA strategy and drive improvements through multi-agency collaboration.

You will strengthen annual reviews, planning and transition pathways, while building workforce capacity with targeted training and professional development. The role supports schools, colleges, employers and partner agencies to expand opportunities for

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of a borough-wide Preparation for Adulthood (PfA) strategy.
• Strengthen the quality of annual reviews, person-centred planning and transition pathways across schools and colleges.
• Build workforce capacity through training, guidance and professional development activities.
• Work closely with schools, post-16 providers, employers and partner agencies to improve education, employment and independent living opportunities.
• Play a key role in developing and supporting Havering's SEND Employment Forum.
• Ensure PfA outcomes are embedded within EHCPs and quality assurance processes.
