Job summary

Berkeley Scott is seeking a Chef Manager to join a school catering team in Peterborough. You will support the day-to-day running of the school kitchen, ensuring high standards of food and service, and lead kitchen staff to deliver meals.

The role offers an immediate start, with weekly pay and a school-based environment. DBS required; food safety and allergen certificates preferred or willingness to obtain.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Chef Manager or in a senior catering role.
• Experience in a school or education setting desirable.
• Enhanced DBS required.
• 2 references required.
• Food Safety Level 2 certificate required (or willingness to obtain).
• Food Allergen certificate required (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety.
• Good organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to lead a team and work under pressure.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities
