Job summary

Pets at Home Limited is seeking a friendly receptionist for Portsmouth Vets for Pets. You will greet clients and their pets, provide guidance on services, manage payments and bookings, and ensure a smooth day‑to‑day flow using our online system.

The role emphasizes strong client service, calm attentiveness, and a willingness to stay up-to-speed with practice services. Part-time shifts include mornings/evenings with occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Receptionist experience would be preferred but not essential.
• Ability to use an online booking system and handle payments.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients on arrival and provide support and guidance.
• Manage payments and future bookings confidently.
• Coordinate day-to-day routines using the online booking system.
• Provide a friendly and welcoming atmosphere to clients and their pets.
