Job summary

Vergo Pest Management Ltd. is seeking a Pest Control Technician to join our team in Midlothian. You will visit customers across your area to inspect properties and carry out treatments, including commercial, residential and government sites.

The salary package is up to £29,500 based on qualifications and experience, with potential to increase take-home pay by up to £6,000 through leads, commission, and bonus schemes.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driver's Licence is mandatory.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Methodical and systematic approach to work.
• Comfortable using mobile phone apps.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Visit customers across your area to inspect and treat properties.
• Carry out pest control treatments for commercial, residential and government sites.
• Promote additional work and upsell where opportunities arise.

Through continued growth, we have a fantastic opportunity for a customer facing Pest Control Technician to join our team, working in Midlothian. Whether you are experienced in the industry, looking for a change or to start your career,

Our comprehensive range of pest management servicesincludes rodent control , bird management, insect control and wildlife management.

You’ll be at the sharp end of our service for commercial, residential and government properties where you'll be visiting our customers across your area to make inspections and carry out treatments, as well as promoting additional work if the opportunity arises.

Our salary package is up to £29,500.00 based on qualifications and experience, in addition all of our technicians have the opportunity to increase their take home pay by up to 6K through leads, commission, bonus schemes and incentives.

Experience within this field would be preferred however we provide an excellent training programme for inexperienced candidates and are always looking to bring on individuals who show initiative and have the right attitude and work ethic.

About you:

• Full UK Drivers Licence
• Good communication skills written and verbal
• Live within a 40 mile radius of the area advertised
• The ability to work effectively and independently with minimal supervision.
