Job summary

Vergo Pest Management Ltd in Exeter is seeking a customer facing Pest Control Technician. You will visit areas across your region to inspect and treat pests, covering commercial, residential and government properties. You may promote additional work when opportunities arise.

Applicants with experience are welcome, but we offer a strong training programme for newcomers. A company vehicle, pension and bonus schemes are included as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively and independently with minimal supervision.
• Be methodical and systematic in your approach to work.
• Comfortable using mobile phone apps.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Vergo Pest Management Ltd is the largest independent national pest service provider in the UK today. We have a fantastic opportunity for a customer facing Pest Control Technician to join our team, working in Exeter. Whether you are experienced in the industry, looking for a change or to start your career, we want to hear from you.

Our comprehensive range of pest management servicesincludes rodent control , bird management, insect control and wildlife management.

You’ll be at the sharp end of our service for commercial, residential and government properties where you'll be visiting our customers across your area to make inspections and carry out treatments, as well as promoting additional work if the opportunity arises.

Our salary package is up to £29,500.00 based on qualifications and experience, in addition all of our technicians have the opportunity to increase their take home pay by up to 6K through leads, commission, bonus schemes and incentives.

Experience within this field would be preferred however we provide an excellent training programme for inexperienced candidates and are always looking to bring on individuals who show initiative and have the right attitude and work ethic.
