Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a QTS-qualified Primary Tutor to support children across the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole area with personalised 1:1 tuition. You will work with primary learners who may require alternative provision or extra help to access learning, including those with SEND or additional needs.

The role offers flexible hours and the chance to make a lasting difference in a nurturing setting.

Qualifications

• QTS qualification with primary focus.
• Minimum 6 months' experience in an educational setting.
• Experience teaching or supporting primary-aged children.
• Ability to deliver engaging, personalised lessons for diverse needs.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored 1:1 tuition to primary students.
• Support children with SEND or additional needs.
• Collaborate with Local Authority staff as required.
• Travel within the local area as needed.
