Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking QTS-qualified tutors to deliver personalised 1:1 tuition across the BCP area. You will support learners with diverse needs, tailoring sessions to build confidence, re-engage with learning and achieve positive outcomes.

Flexible hours and opportunities across age groups and subjects are available, with DBS on Update Service preferred or willingness to obtain one. Travel across the BCP area may be required.

Qualifications

• QTS preferred, though experienced tutors may apply.
• Minimum 6 months' experience in an educational setting, including tutoring, teaching, TA, learning support or mentoring.
• Strong subject knowledge in your area of expertise.
• Ability to deliver engaging and personalised sessions.
• Experience supporting learners with SEND, EHCPs or additional needs is desirable.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
• Driver preferred or willingness to travel locally across the BCP area.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalised 1:1 tutoring sessions.
• Support learners with ASD, SEMH, ADHD, anxiety, and school avoidance.
• Develop individual programmes based on learner needs and goals.
• Adapt sessions to different ages and ability levels.
