Role Description – Personal Tailor

Location: London Area, United Kingdom

Type: Full-Time, On-Site

We are looking for a Personal Tailor to join our team and contribute to our tradition of excellence in tailoring. This role is based in one of our flagship London locations and is central to delivering the personalised service Hackett is known for.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and tailor bespoke garments to meet individual client requirements
• Conduct fittings and make precise alterations for an impeccable fit
• Provide a high level of personalised customer service
• Maintain exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail
• Collaborate with clients and team members to deliver an outstanding experience
• Represent Hackett’s brand values and tailoring expertise with professionalism

Qualifications & Skills

Essential:

• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Genuine interest in tailoring, menswear, and fashion
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Passion for delivering a luxury customer experience

Preferred (but not required):

• Basic tailoring knowledge or experience in alterations
• Familiarity with garment fittings and adjustments
• Background in luxury retail or fashion industry

Training & Development

No direct experience in personal tailoring? No problem.
