Job summary

Aviva is seeking a Portfolio Underwriting Analyst in the UK to help optimise the motor insurance portfolio through monitoring, analysis and underwriting recommendations. You’ll work with colleagues across underwriting, pricing, analytics, claims and operations from locations including Leeds, Norwich, Perth and Glasgow.

The role suits someone with experience in underwriting, portfolio management, pricing or analytics, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in underwriting, portfolio management, pricing or analytics.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actions.
• Good commercial awareness and understanding of insurance performance drivers.
• Ability to build relationships and influence across functions.
• Strong communication skills to present findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities and risks across the motor portfolio.
• Support segment reviews and recommend underwriting interventions.
• Contribute to underwriting footprint changes and strategy.
