Lawes Consulting Group is recruiting an Insurance Account Handler in Personal Lines for their Lanarkshire office. You will manage client portfolios, understand their needs and provide the right cover in a full-time, office-based setting.

Responsibilities include relationship management, policy administration, renewals, upselling and staying current with industry trends to offer informed advice. A collaborative team environment and strong MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Some knowledge or experience within insurance or financial services is ideal but not essential — full training is provided.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• IT proficiency, including confidence with MS Office.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their insurance requirements and providing professional guidance.
• Handle the end-to-end administration of insurance policies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry regulations.
• Proactively manage policy renewals, identify upselling opportunities, and contribute to the growth of the client portfolio.
• Stay informed about industry trends, changes in regulations, and emerging products to provide informed advice to clients.
• Work closely with internal teams, including underwriters and claims specialists, to deliver comprehensive and effective insurance solutions.
