Job summary

Realm Recruit Ltd is working with a growing Manchester practice to recruit a Personal Injury Solicitor. You’ll run your own caseload while supporting the team on higher-value, complex Serious Injury work.

The role offers hybrid working, a supportive environment, and a route to progress into more challenging claims, including EL, PL, OL and RTA, with emphasis on client care.

Qualifications

• Must be solicitor or CILEX with EL/PL/OL experience.
• At least 2 years’ PI caseload management.
• Knowledge of RTA claims.
• Excellent client care and communication.
• Litigated file experience and Proclaim familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Manage around 130 Personal Injury files from inception to conclusion.
• Handle EL, PL, OL and some RTA claims and negotiate settlements.
• Review medical evidence and prepare schedules of loss.
• Progress litigated and non-litigated claims with care for clients.
• Liaise with experts and insurers to advance outcomes.
• Maintain proactive, organised casework and clear communications.

Are you a Personal Injury Solicitor looking for a role where you can run your own caseload while building towards more complex, higher-value work?

This growing Manchester practice is looking for a Personal Injury Solicitor to join its established team. The position has been newly created following further growth and the firm’s successful appointment to a new contract.

You’ll manage a caseload of around 130 Personal Injury matters, primarily Employers’ Liability, Public Liability and Occupiers’ Liability claims, alongside a smaller number of RTA cases. You’ll take ownership from inception through to settlement or trial, with a mixture of litigated and non-litigated work.

You’ll also benefit from working within an experienced, close-knit team with a strong emphasis on client care. The department is led by lawyers with significant Personal Injury expertise, including more than 25 years’ experience across EL, PL and serious RTA claims.

Who we’re looking for

• Solicitor or CILEX qualification (E)
• At least 2 years’ experience managing your own Personal Injury caseload (E)
• Strong EL, PL and OL experience (E)
• Ability to progress claims from inception to settlement or trial (E)
• Knowledge of RTA claims (E)
• Excellent client care and communication skills (E)
