Care Assistant for a young gentleman P/T @ £12.40/hr in Leeds

I’m looking for a PA to support me. I’m 33 years old, have cerebral palsy and learning difficulties. I sometimes get anxious and may need support to understand situations and manage my anxiety.

I enjoy going out on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday mornings or afternoons. I’m flexible and like activities such as going to the cinema, bowling, walking, visiting new places, eating out, and doing my own shopping, so your own car would be needed. I have a blue badge for parking.

I also like to walk around Leeds city centre, do my shopping, and enjoy spending time in the city. I’m okay with crowds but prefer not to be in overcrowded places. Due to my balance issues, I may need support by linking into your arm. I must use a lift in shops and am not comfortable on escalators.

I have a strong interest in sport and music, and I enjoy talking about them. I’m outgoing, like to have a laugh, and enjoy conversations.

I’m seeking a caring and understanding PA who can support my learning difficulties, help calm me if I become anxious or upset, and assist me in maintaining my independence.

Based in Leeds 10 or nearby. You must have your own car and full driving license, as I do not use public transport due to difficulties. Please be a non-smoker/vaper.
