NHS Scotland is seeking an enthusiastic Personal Assistant/Administrator to join Belford Hospital, Fort William. You will work closely with the Rural General Hospital Manager to provide high-quality administrative support ensuring smooth running of services.
Responsibilities include diary management, meetings, minutes, and reports, plus workforce administration and recruitment support. Strong organisation and MS Office skills are essential.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and organised Personal Assistant/Administrator to join the team at Belford Hospital, Fort William. Working closely with the Rural General Hospital Manager and wider management team, you will provide high-quality administrative support to help ensure the smooth and effective running of services within the hospital.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of administrative duties including diary management, arranging meetings, preparing correspondence and reports, organising agendas and taking minutes, maintaining accurate records and providing professional, confidential support within a busy hospital environment.
You will also support workforce administration including maintaining Consultant staffing records, updating SSTS with shift and leave arrangements, processing study leave applications, supporting recruitment processes and assisting with financial administration.
We are looking for someone with excellent organisation and communication skills, a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office application and the ability to manage competing priorities while delivering a high-quality service.
Experience of working with Microsoft Office Applications, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel
