Job summary

Bowdon Associates Limited is recruiting a Personal Assistant (PA) to provide confidential, proactive administrative support to the Managing Directors. The role focuses on complex diary management, meeting and travel coordination, and preparing business documentation.

The successful candidate will handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced SME environment, with opportunities for professional development and a supportive team culture at the Head Office in Bolton.

Qualifications

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
  • Level 3 Business Administration qualification.
  • Executive PA or Executive Assistant training (Desirable).
  • Previous experience as Personal Assistant/Executive Assistant or Senior Administrator.
  • Excellent diary and meeting management; strong MS Office skills and handling confidential information.

Responsibilities

  • Manage complex diaries and calendars for the Managing Directors.
  • Coordinate meetings and travel arrangements.
  • Prepare business documentation and correspondence.
  • Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide light office management and cross‑team support as required.

Title: Personal Assistant PA Location: Bolton Salary: GBP30,000 GBP35,000

The Client Our client are a dynamic and rapidly expanding leader in the construction and facilities management sector. They provide a comprehensive range of services aimed at optimising the operations of commercial and residential buildings.

As part of their continued growth, they are seeking a skilled and dedicated Personal Assistant - PA to join their team. The role of Personal Assistant - PA The Personal Assistant provides confidential, proactive, and professional administrative support to both Managing Director s, enabling them to focus on the strategic management and growth of the business.

The postholder will be responsible for managing complex diaries, coordinating meetings and travel, preparing business documentation and acting as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. In addition, the role will undertake light office management duties to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the Head Office and provide administrative support across the wider business where required. The successful candidate will be highly organised, adaptable, discreet, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.

What we're looking for in the Personal Assistant -
PA Essential Qualifications
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics. Business Administration qualification or equivalent experience. Desirable Qualifications
  • Level 3 Business Administration qualification. Executive PA or Executive Assistant training. Minute-taking qualification or experience. Essential
  • Knowledge and Experience Previous experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or Senior Administrator
  • Experience supporting senior managers or directors. Excellent diary and meeting management skills. Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience handling confidential information.
Desirable
  • Experience within construction, facilities management, engineering, or property services.

Experience organising company events.

Experience supporting senior leadership teams in an SME environment.
