Job summary

Taking Care Personal Alarms Ltd in Exeter is seeking a highly organised Personal Assistant to provide dedicated support to the Chief Executive Officer. This permanent, 25-hour-per-week role requires managing the CEO’s diary, coordinating meetings, arranging travel and preparing briefing materials.

You will act as a trusted point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, handle confidential information with discretion and support governance and leadership meetings.

Qualifications

Location: Exeter
Hours: 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday (5 hours per day)
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £23,215 per annum (pro rata for 25 hours per week)

We are seeking a highly organised and professional Personal Assistant to provide dedicated support to our Chief Executive Officer.

About the Role

As Personal Assistant to the CEO, you will play an important role at the heart of the organisation, ensuring the CEO's time, priorities and commitments are managed efficiently and professionally.

You'll be responsible for coordinating meetings, managing a busy and varied diary, arranging travel and accommodation, preparing meeting materials and supporting key business activities. You will also act as a trusted point of contact for internal and external stakeholders and handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate the CEO's diary, meetings and appointments.
  • Organise travel, accommodation and itineraries.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, papers and briefing materials.
  • Support Board, leadership and governance meetings.
  • Take notes and track actions where required.
  • Manage correspondence and administrative tasks efficiently.
  • Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Handle confidential and commercially sensitive information appropriately.
About You

You will have:

  • Previous experience in a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant or senior administrative support role.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach.
  • Experience handling confidential information.
  • Strong Microsoft 365 skills, including Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint and Copilot.

Experience supporting a CEO, Managing Director, Board or Senior Leadership Team would be advantageous.
