Oyster in London is seeking an experienced Personal Assistant to provide dedicated support to its Chief Executive Officer. This high-visibility role requires exceptional organisation, discretion and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

You will manage the CEO's diary, coordinate meetings and travel, prepare reports and briefing papers, and act as a trusted partner to enable delivery of key business objectives while safeguarding confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or similar senior support role.
  • Experience supporting a CEO or senior executive.
  • Outstanding diary and inbox management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
  • Discretion when handling sensitive information.
  • Experience supporting board-level executives is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively manage the CEO's complex diary and prioritise appointments.
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings, agendas, and board packs.
  • Act as the first point of contact for communications to the CEO.
  • Organise domestic and international travel and logistics.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, briefing papers, and business documents.
  • Track actions from meetings and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Build relationships with senior leaders, clients, and partners.
  • Support board meetings with administration and minute-taking.
  • Assist with events, projects, and wider business initiatives.

An established and growing organisation is seeking an experienced Personal Assistant to provide dedicated support to its Chief Executive Officer.

This is a highly visible role requiring exceptional organisational skills, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will act as a trusted partner to the CEO, ensuring the smooth running of the executive office and enabling

effective delivery of key business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively manage the CEO's complex diary, prioritising appointments and resolving scheduling conflicts.
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings, including preparation of agendas, board packs, presentations, and meeting notes.
  • Act as the first point of contact for communications directed to the CEO, managing correspondence with professionalism and discretion.
  • Organise domestic and international travel, accommodation, itineraries, and associated logistics.
  • Prepare high-quality reports, presentations, briefing papers, and business documents.
  • Track and monitor actions arising from meetings, ensuring deadlines are met and stakeholders remain accountable.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders, clients, partners, and external stakeholders.
  • Support leadership and board meetings through administration, minute-taking, and coordination of follow-up actions.
  • Assist with company events, projects, and wider business initiatives as required.
  • Handle confidential and commercially sensitive information with the utmost integrity.
Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be a proactive, professional, and highly organised individual with previous experience supporting senior executives at C-suite level.

Essential Experience & Skills
  • Proven experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or similar senior support role.
  • Experience supporting a CEO, Managing Director, CFO, or other senior executive.
  • Outstanding diary and inbox management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and remain calm under pressure.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Excel.
  • Professional, confident, and capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Absolute discretion when handling sensitive information.
  • Experience supporting board-level executives.
  • Exposure to a fast-growth, private equity-backed, professional services, property, or commercial environment.
  • Project coordination and event management experience.
