Would you like to join my team? I am a young lady living at home with my family in Didcot, Oxfordshire. We are looking for additional team members to help support me in my home and out in the community. I enjoy socialising and going out, so it's important that you can drive my vehicle.
I am searching for a personal assistant who can help me live my life to the fullest. I enjoy daily outings, meeting new people, and taking part in fun activities such as bowling, shopping, and walks.
I have complex health and support needs, including clinical support. I need confident and competent staff who are good communicators and can use my equipment safely. I require support with personal care, feeding, administering medicines via my Mickey Tube, and moving and handling support including transfers. I also need regular chest physiotherapy and suctioning. Despite this support, I aim to remain as independent as possible and wish to be involved in my decisions.
Shifts follow a four-week rota:
There is potential to increase hours, which can be discussed during the interview.
I require female drivers with a full UK driving license to drive my vehicle.
The ideal candidate will be committed, reliable, flexible, and possess a positive, caring attitude with excellent communication skills. Experience in care and learning disabilities is desirable but not essential; willingness to learn is valued.
