Michael Page is partnering with a well-established Birmingham-based industrial and manufacturing organisation to recruit a Personal Assistant on a 12-Month Fixed Term Contract. The role supports senior leadership with diary management, travel bookings, and high‑level admin in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organisational skills, discretion with confidential information, and proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a Personal Assistant or similar administrative role.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proactive attitude and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Familiarity with the industrial/manufacturing sector is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to senior leadership, including diary and email management.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and take accurate minutes for distribution.
  • Organise travel arrangements, including booking flights, hotels, and transportation.
  • Manage confidential documents and ensure proper filing systems are maintained.
  • Act as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and correspondence.
  • Monitor and manage office supplies and liaise with suppliers as needed.
  • Support ad hoc projects and tasks to ensure the smooth running of the department.
