Job summary

DFDS UK & Ireland in Immingham is seeking a Permit Coordinator to support safe and efficient site delivery. You will coordinate Permit-to-Work, review RAMS, and monitor ongoing work while escalating risks where needed.

You'll work with contractors and internal teams, manage documentation, isolations, and permit conditions, and ensure compliance with site procedures in a busy operational environment. A proactive, organised approach and strong communication are essential to build relationships

Qualifications

Experience with permits, contractors or similar operational setting would be advantageous.
Understanding of Permit-to-Work, Control of Work and RAMS documentation.
Organised and detail-focused with strong communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage the Permit-to-Work process with correct documentation and approvals.
Review RAMS, work packs, drawings and job instructions for scope alignment.
Monitor ongoing work and permit conditions, identify risks, and escalate as needed.
Coordinate isolation and Lock Out Tag Out documentation and verifications.
Maintain accurate permit records and liaise with contractors and internal teams.
