Job summary

Thorn Baker Industrial is seeking a motivated Permanent Recruitment Consultant to grow our permanent recruitment offering in the warehouse, manufacturing and industrial sectors. You will fill permanent vacancies for our established client base while expanding services to market and building new client relationships.

You will manage the full recruitment process, source and assess candidates, and present suitable matches to clients.

Qualifications

• Experience in permanent recruitment is preferred.
• Ability to build relationships with clients and candidates.
• Proactive in approaching new businesses and opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Manage the permanent recruitment process from vacancy brief to placement and follow-up.
• Understand client hiring needs and identify recruitment opportunities.
• Source, attract and assess candidates for warehouse, manufacturing and industrial roles.
• Present candidates, coordinate interviews, manage feedback and offers.
• Proactively approach new businesses to introduce Thorn Baker’s permanent recruitment services.
• Develop new business through calls, outreach, networking and meetings.
• Build a pipeline of vacancies, candidates and clients.
• Collaborate with the Industrial team to identify opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records and keep clients/candidates informed.

Job description

Thorn Baker s Industrial division is looking for a motivated and ambitious Permanent Recruitment Consultant to grow our permanent recruitment offering.

Specialising in warehouse, manufacturing and industrial recruitment, you ll fill permanent vacancies for our established client base while taking our services to market and building relationships with new businesses. This is an opportunity to combine candidate recruitment, client relationship management and business development within a successful, supportive team.

What You ll Be Doing

• Managing the permanent recruitment process from taking a detailed vacancy brief through to placement and follow-up.

• Working with our existing client base to understand their permanent hiring needs and identify opportunities to support them.

• Sourcing, attracting and assessing high-quality candidates for warehouse, manufacturing and industrial roles.

• Presenting suitable candidates, coordinating interviews and managing feedback, offers and acceptance.

• Proactively approaching new businesses to introduce Thorn Baker s permanent recruitment services.

• Developing new business through targeted calls, outreach, networking and client meetings.

• Building a strong pipeline of vacancies, candidates and prospective clients.

• Working alongside our wider Industrial team to identify and develop permanent recruitment opportunities.

• Maintaining accurate records and keeping clients and candidates informed throughout the hiring process.
