Job summary

TeacherActive Limited is recruiting a Nursery Practitioner for a well-established private day nursery in Cheadle Hulme. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, starting November 2026, and includes support for children from 6 weeks to 5 years.

Salary is £12.17–£16.25 per hour. The successful candidate will plan activities in line with EYFS, support daily routines and work closely with families to uphold high standards of care. On-site parking is available.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare.
• Minimum 3 months’ experience in a UK nursery.
• Sound knowledge of EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage).

Responsibilities

• Support children's daily learning, play and care routines.
• Plan engaging activities in line with the EYFS.
• Collaborate with colleagues and families to maintain high standards.
