Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a well-established private day nursery in Cheadle Hulme, providing a caring environment for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. The 40-hour-per-week permanent role starts in November 2026 and focuses on supporting daily learning, play and care routines.

You will plan activities in line with the EYFS and work closely with families and colleagues to uphold high standards of care and development.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare.
• Minimum of 3 months’ UK nursery experience.
• Solid knowledge of the EYFS framework.
• Caring, proactive and reliable approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Support children with daily learning, play and care routines.
• Plan engaging activities in line with EYFS.
• Collaborate with colleagues and families to maintain high standards.
