Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd in Wakefield is seeking a Nursery Practitioner to support children aged 0-5 in a busy 70-place nursery setting. The role offers flexible part-time or full-time hours, on-site in WF1 2UN, with competitive pay and strong EYFS alignment.

The successful candidate will help deliver engaging activities, maintain a safe learning environment and support children in line with EYFS guidelines. Salary is £13.50–£15 per hour with on-site work.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification, or QTS.
• Experience with children aged 0-5 in an EYFS setting.
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Positive and enthusiastic approach to supporting children.
• Ability to adapt across different nursery rooms and age groups.
• Reliable and flexible approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Support children across the setting with engaging activities.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment for all ages 0-5.
• Support children's development in line with EYFS.
