Job summary

Culina Group Limited (Stobart division) is recruiting permanent HGV Class 1 Drivers for the Tesco Distribution Centre in Doncaster to support our General Haulage operation. You will undertake trunking, deliveries to DCs and stores, and aim for safe driving and high customer service standards.

Day and night shifts are available with flexible start times. On offer are competitive hourly rates, meal allowance per shift, modern fleet, and long-term stable employment in a leading UK logistics

Qualifications

• Valid C+E licence and HGV1 driving experience.
• No more than 6 points and no DD/DR convictions.
• DCPC and Tachograph cards held.
• Understanding of Driver Hours Regulations and WTD.
• Ability to carry out vehicle safety checks and report defects.
• Excellent communication skills.
• On-site health and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Delivering to Distribution Centres and retail stores across the region.
• Loading/unloading cages occasionally as required.
• Carrying out trunking routes, drops and swaps and general haulage tasks.
• Completing all relevant paperwork and daily logs.
• Maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.
• Working with the transport team to ensure efficient operations.
• Complying with Driver Hours Regulations and Tachograph legislation.
