Job summary

Stobart, part of the Culina Group, is hiring permanent HGV Class 1 drivers for our Doncaster depot to support Asda. Roles involve trunking between distribution centres and occasional general haulage tasks, with day shifts and flexible start times.

Shifts typically run 08:00–11:00 starts. Pay ranges from £15.15 to £18.96 per hour, with a £5 per shift meal allowance. Full-time, permanent positions with benefits and dedicated transport team support.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV 1/C+E licence, DCPC and Tacho Card.
• Minimum 12 months Class 1 driving experience.
• No more than 6 points on licence with no DD/ DR convictions.
• Understand Driver’s hours and WTD legislation.
• Carry out vehicle checks and report defects correctly.
• Adhere to on-site health and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Trunking runs between distribution centres from Doncaster depot.
• Support General work, including occasional store deliveries and network support.
• Complete all necessary vehicle checks and documentation.
• Maintain high levels of safety, compliance and professionalism.
• Collaborate with transport team for smooth operations.
