Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 licence.
• Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital tachograph card.
• Trunking experience or strong understanding of trunking work.
• Good knowledge of driving regulations and road safety.
• Reliable, punctual and professional approach.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out trunking work safely and efficiently
• Complete vehicle checks before and after journeys
• Follow delivery schedules, route instructions and site procedures
• Secure loads appropriately and protect goods in transit
• Complete required driving, delivery and vehicle documentation
• Maintain high standards of safety and professionalism
• Report any vehicle, load or delivery issues promptly
