Job summary

Workchain is hiring an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver in Haverfordwest for a permanent, day-shift role involving trunking and non-ADR tanker work in the local area. The position offers permanent employment with day shifts and a competitive hourly rate.

The role requires a valid Driver CPC, tachograph card, and solid knowledge of UK roads and transport regulations. You will be responsible for safe loading, timely deliveries, and accurate paperwork while maintaining high safety and customer

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 entitlement with relevant driving experience.
• Experience operating non-ADR tankers is required.
• A valid Driver CPC and a digital tachograph card.
• Good knowledge of UK roads and transport regulations.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled trunking deliveries and collections safely and efficiently.
• Operate non-ADR tanker vehicles in line with legal and company requirements.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects or issues promptly.
• Secure and handle loads appropriately throughout each journey.
• Complete delivery paperwork and other required records accurately.
• Maintain high standards of safety, professionalism and customer service.
• Plan routes effectively and meet agreed delivery times.
• Follow site, transport and health and safety procedures at all times.
