Job summary

Jaxdene Solutions Limited seeks a dedicated Permanent Plant Operator for an Anaerobic Digestion production facility in Cambridgeshire. You will operate and set up plant machinery, monitor performance, and work with the team to maintain safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring all plant processes via visual inspection and PLC systems, making fine adjustments to optimise performance.
• Carrying out basic maintenance on plant components according to manufacturer guidelines.
• Recording data, completing checklists, and reporting to the Production Manager daily.
• Supporting environmental monitoring, including drainage systems, leachate, and digestate control.
• Assisting with loading, unloading, housekeeping, and operating plant machinery (tele-handlers, forklifts).
• Supporting the Engineering team to ensure quick, efficient repairs.
• Following strict Health & Safety procedures at all times.
• Working on a 4-on/4-off shift pattern (12-hour shifts) days and nights.
