Job summary

Jaxdene Solutions Limited is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join a fast-paced anaerobic digestion plant on a 4 on/4 off, 12-hour days shift. You will perform planned maintenance, diagnose faults, and service motors, drives and control panels across site systems.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years’ relevant experience, NVQ Level 3 in engineering, and a proactive hands-on approach. 18th Edition is preferred. Attractive package with PPE, pension and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years’ experience in a similar, fast-paced manufacturing or engineering role.
• 18th Edition qualification is preferred but not essential.
• Strong fault-finding skills with PLC/SCADA and 3-phase systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) per schedules.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults across site equipment.
• Perform repairs, installations, inspections and testing to high standards.
• Modify and maintain control panels and drive systems.
• Support breakdown investigations and return equipment to service quickly.
• Work on motors, drives, instrumentation, and process equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records using company logging systems.
• Adhere to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality procedures.
