Job summary

Eko Talent seeks a Plant Manager to oversee an anaerobic digestion facility in the UK. You will ensure safe, compliant operations, optimise biogas production, and lead an operations team through ongoing improvement projects.

Responsibilities include supervising plant operations, maintenance planning, and data-driven reporting while coordinating with contractors. A strong background in industrial processes is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience managing day-to-day operations in an industrial process facility.
• Strong knowledge of environmental permits and HSE requirements.
• Experience with biogas, anaerobic digestion, or energy-from-waste preferred.
• Proven ability to lead and develop operations teams.

Monday - Friday - Day Shift

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Plant Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a anaerobic digestion facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant running of the plant, delivering optimal biogas production, managing operations team, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise all aspects of plant operations, maintenance, and performance.
• Monitor and optimise feedstock inputs, biogas yield, and digestate quality.
• Ensure strict compliance with environmental permits, HSE regulations, and company standards.

What We’re Looking For:

• Health and Safety Qualifications - NEBOSH / IOSH / AP
• Proven experience working within a industrial process environment - Biogas, Anaerobic Digestion, Recycling, Energy From Waste (EFW), Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Power Generation
• WAMITAB certification or equivalent (or willingness to attain).
• Experience with SCADA/PLC systems and maintenance planning software.
• In depth technical engineering knowledge within mechanical or electrical disciplines.
