Job summary

Biogen is seeking a Plant Operator for its anaerobic digestion plant in Weston-super-Mare. You will assist with intake, sorting and loading of food waste, and support routine checks and maintenance as part of a dedicated site team.

The role requires adherence to health and safety rules and regulatory standards, with training provided. Driving licence is advantageous; telehandler certification is beneficial and training will be given if needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in related industry preferred.
• Driving licence preferred.
• Telehandler certificate advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist with intake, sorting and loading of food waste arriving on site.
• Follow health and safety and environmental regulations on site.
• Perform routine checking and maintenance tasks as part of a site team.
• Coordinate with HSE, Environment Agency and regulatory bodies as required.
