Job summary

Lancashire Renewables Ltd. is seeking an Anaerobic Digestion Operative for our Leyland site. The role involves hands‑on reception and front‑end operations, safely unloading household waste and loading the hammermill, with support for start‑up/shutdown and routine process checks.

The position requires relevant plant operator registrations, good radio communication, and strong teamwork, with a 5‑day week on alternating shifts. On‑site parking and site benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Must hold National Plant Operators Registration Scheme or equivalent for FEL, FLT and Tele‑truck.
• Knowledge of basic mobile plant inspections and checks.
• Good communication skills including use of radio communications.
• Strong organizational abilities.
• Good teamwork and mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Run day‑to‑day reception and front‑end operations for waste processing.
• Unloading household food waste safely and loading hammermill/de‑packaging line.
• Assist with plant start‑up/shutdown and routine parameter checks.
