Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist independent day school on the Wirral. The role focuses on supporting students with autism, communication needs, dyslexia, and anxiety-related barriers, in a small-class setting to boost academic, social and emotional development.

You will assist with tailored activities, differentiation, and safeguarding, liaising with SEN coordinators while promoting an inclusive learning environment and supporting

Qualifications

  • GCSE Maths & English (Grade 4/C or above).
  • Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or working towards.
  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
  • Experience with SEMH and/or ASD.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate PermanentSEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist independent day school supporting students with autism, communication needs, dyslexia, and anxiety-related barriers to learning.

You’ll work in a supportive, small-class environment, helping students develop academically, socially, and emotionally while making a meaningful impact.
