Job summary

Teaching Personnel in Birkenhead, Wirral, is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant on a permanent, full-time basis starting September. You will support students 1:1 and in small groups, help manage behaviour and support teachers in delivering engaging lessons.

This role requires recent SEN or behavioural support experience, strong behaviour management, and a patient, proactive attitude. A full UK driving licence and own vehicle are required. Benefits include car allowance and wellbeing support.

We are recruiting for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist Secondary Alternative Provision school in Birkenhead,Wirral. This rewarding role involves supporting students with additional needs and challenging behaviours, helping them build confidence, re-engage with learning, and achieve positive outcomes.
