Job summary

Teaching Personnel are recruiting an SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist secondary provision in Manchester, supporting pupils aged 11-19 with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), PMLD, communication needs, and complex learning needs.

The role involves 1:1 and small-group support, assisting with learning activities and classroom engagement, promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing, and working closely with teachers

Qualifications

  • Previous SEN experience is essential.
  • Experience supporting pupils with complex needs is desirable.
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) is required.

SEN Learning Support Assistant

Contract: Full-time, Term-Time Only
Pay: Competitive, dependent on experience

Teaching Personnel are recruiting an SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist secondary provision supporting pupils aged 11-19 with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), communication needs, physical disabilities, and complex learning needs.

Requirements

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
