Job summary

Pearson, via TQ Education & Training, is seeking a qualified Functional Skills Tutor to deliver Maths and English up to Level 2 to apprentices across Worthy Down and other Pearson sites across the UK.

The role is full-time and includes remote 1:1/group support sessions. A current teaching qualification (PTLLS/CTLLS/Cert Ed/PGCE/DTLLS) and a minimum Level 2 in English and Maths are required. A valid UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified Functional Skills Tutor with Maths and English up to level 2.
• Teaching qualification such as PTLLS/CTLLS/Cert Ed/PGCE/DTLLS.
• Experience delivering Functional Skills English and Maths up to level 2.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Maths and English Functional Skills at Levels 1 and 2.
• Engage learners with onsite and remote teaching methods.
• Complete assessments, learning plans and learner records.
• Maintain up-to-date syllabus, schemes of work and materials.
