Job summary

Pearson TQ is seeking a passionate Functional Skills Tutor for Kinloss/Forres, Scotland on a zero-hours, on-site pattern. You will deliver Maths and English Functional Skills (Levels 1-2), both face-to-face and remotely, to adult learners in a military training environment.

The role requires a recognised teaching qualification and Level 2 English and Maths, with experience delivering Functional Skills English up to Level 2.

Qualifications

• Recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PTLLS, CTLLS, Cert Ed, PGCE, DTLLS).
• Minimum Level 2 qualification in English and Maths.
• Experience delivering Functional Skills English up to Level 2.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Maths and English Functional Skills sessions (Levels 1-2) onsite and remotely.
• Support and motivate learners to complete qualifications on time.
• Conduct Speaking and Listening assessments as per awarding body requirements.
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual learner needs.
