Job summary

Pearson TQ is seeking a Functional Skills Tutor to deliver English and Maths to adult learners in a military training setting at Minley and Worthy Down. The role runs in the evenings with some daytime delivery and offers flexible hours in a unique environment.

Qualifications

• Recognised teaching qualification required.
• Level 2 English and Maths qualifications.
• Experience teaching, tutoring, training, or coaching adult learners.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Functional Skills English and Maths teaching up to Level 2.
• Support learners face-to-face and remotely.
• Create engaging and inclusive learning experiences.
• Conduct assessments and provide feedback.
• Motivate learners to achieve goals.
• Adapt teaching to learner needs.
• Maintain learner records and e-portfolio evidence.
