Pearson, via TQ Education & Training, is seeking a qualified Functional Skills Tutor to deliver Maths and English up to Level 2 to apprentices across Worthy Down and other Pearson sites across the UK.
The role is full-time and includes remote 1:1/group support sessions. A current teaching qualification (PTLLS/CTLLS/Cert Ed/PGCE/DTLLS) and a minimum Level 2 in English and Maths are required. A valid UK driving licence is essential.

TQ Education & Training (part of the Pearson Group) is a provider of outsourced training services to the UK Ministry of Defence, other public sector organisations and private companies both in the UK and overseas. You will support Functional Skills delivery as part of the Army Apprenticeship contracts with the MoD however, your role isn't just limited to one contract; you'll have the opportunity to work across various exciting TQ partnerships!
As a peripatetic Functional Skills Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering Maths and English Functional Skills qualifications at Levels 1 and 2 to apprentices at Worthy Down as well as at other Pearson TQ or employer sites including Abingdon, Aldershot, Bicester, Hullavington and Tidworth. This is a full-time role that involves delivering two-week or one-week Functional Skills courses throughout the year as well as remote 1:1/group support sessions and target setting for a caseload of apprentices.
